Kathleen Cameron


Kathleen is a senior majoring in Genetics while pursuing a certificate in Global Health. She is from Bloomington, Minnesota and loves summers spent on Lake Calhoun with her dogs. Kathleen also plays the violin in an orchestra here on campus, and participated in the UW Music in Italy study abroad program a few summers ago.  She is currently applying to medical schools!

Sabrina Wang


Sabrina is a junior double majoring in Biology and Classical Humanities as well as pursuing a Certificate in Global Health. She's from Brookfield, Wisconsin, a suburb right outside of Milwaukee. Sabrina is a proud champion of any and all breakfast foods, and will never say no Basset St. Brunch Club. When she's not eating, Sabrina enjoys long runs, kickboxing, and watching Game of Thrones. She's really excited to have a blast in AMSA this year!

Michael Kessler


Michael is a senior at UW-Madison studying neurobiology and biochemistry, while pursuing a certificate in German. He is from Nashville, Tennessee, although he is not very fond of country music. Aside from schoolwork, Michael enjoys playing club ice hockey, listening to music, watching House of Cards, and eating of course.



Zach Wallace


Zach is a senior majoring in biology and sociology. He is originally from Germantown, Wisconsin. When Zach isn’t in class or studying, he enjoys sailing, playing guitar, and exploring the amazing city of Madison.




Sindhu Battula


Sindhu is a junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering and pursuing a certificate in Biology in Engineering and Stem Cell Sciences. She is from Palatine, Illinois. Sindhu works as a tutor at the Undergraduate Learning Center and researches on the regulation of germline stem cells. While she is not at Wendt Commons, she enjoys playing Badminton, watching tennis/hockey and eating Babcock ice cream.




Haley Joyce



Haley is a Junior studying Biology and Spanish. She is from Madison, Wisconsin where she spends her Summers on the terrace, Falls at Camp Randall, Winters indoors, and Springs at College Library She takes her coffee black and won't say no to a chance to adventure!

Michael Hermsen


Michael is a senior majoring in mathematics.  From Little Chute, Wisconsin, Michael enjoys soccer, ping pong, playing the piano, and skiing (on both liquid and solid water).  His current television show of choice is Sherlock or The Office, but he wouldn’t say no to an episode of Psych.


Bobby Weishar


Bobby is a junior majoring in biomedical engineering.  He is from Hartland, Wisconsin, and enjoys playing sports, eating food, and watching Game of Thrones.  He is an avid car enthusiast and is almost done building a Factory Five GTM with his dad.  While on campus, he does mesenchymal stem cell research under the guidance of Dr. Li in the orthopedics/biomedical engineering department.


Shakir Siddique


Shakir is a senior majoring in economics. He is from the west suburbs of Chicago (Elgin). He has a deep passion for cars, racing, weightlifting, traveling, and eating. He enjoys curry, spice, and ultimately anything that's nice.




Cooper Goss



Cooper is a Senior studying Neurobiology with a Certificate in Global Health at UW-Madison. He is from the small town of Winneconne, Wisconsin and enjoys watching movies and running. He works at the VA hospital as a CNA, and loves working with Vets from around the area. In the future, he hopes to one day be a CRNA.

Aleah Warden


Aleah is a senior majoring in Biology. She is from the small Village of Orfordville, which is near Janesville, Wisconsin. Aleah does research in the Cellular and Molecular Arrhythmia Research Program at Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research, and also loves to golf, play sand volleyball, and vacation. She is currently applying to medical school!



Mackenzie Rabas


Mackenzie is a junior majoring in Neurobiology with a certificate in Studio Art. She is from Germantown, Wisconsin and loves football gamedays at Madison the most. The terrace is a close second though, and Mackenzie enjoys spending her days by the lake eating anything from Forage Kitchen. During the year, Mackenzie spends time doing research and working as an EMT Basic

Tyler Jacobson


Tyler is a senior majoring in Neurobiology & Finance with a Health Care Management Specialization. He’s a Chicagoan from the North Suburbs (Vernon Hills) and is also a proud Chicago Bear season ticket holder. In his free time, he enjoys making smoothies with friends and getting sushi during happy hour. He also enjoys fishing with his Grandpa on Tuesdays, watching Game of Thrones and walking his dog, Sofia. 

Sean Phillips


Sean is a junior majoring in neurobiology. He enjoys summer nights in his beautiful hometown of Madison and playing sand volleyball.





Jacob Lindemann


Jacob is a sophomore from Manitowoc, Wisconsin, majoring in Biology while simultaneously pursuing certificates in Global Health and Integrated Studies in Science, Engineering, and Society (ISSuES). When  not in class, he can be found in the lab researching glaucoma or out enjoying the wide variety of extracurriculars that Madison has to offer.

Coleton King


Coleton is a junior majoring in biochemistry and economics. Coming from suburban Prior Lake, Minnesota, he can appreciate beach bonfire cookouts and recreational disc golf. Since arriving in Madison he has developed a passion for medical research and is currently an aspiring MD-PhD.



Maddie Ebert


Maddie is a junior pursuing a double major in Biology and Human Development and Family Studies. She is originally from Madison, WI, where she grew up spending time around Lake Mendota with her friends and family. Maddie enjoys volunteering at Meriter Hospital, where she is currently sharing her time in the birthing center. This past semester, Maddie began working in a research lab on campus, investigating metabolic outputs of pre-term infants. Maddie has her sights set on medical school and a career in fetal medicine. She also hopes to go abroad in order to provide care for underserved communities.

Ingie Osman


Ingie is a senior majoring in Biology while pursuing certificates in Global Health and Environmental Studies. She is originally from Spring Green, Wisconsin, which is a small town about 45 minutes outside of Madison. In her spare time, she enjoys being involved with another organization on campus called Camp Kesem, going to the terrace to eat copious amounts of ice cream, re-watching The Office, listening to music, and just exploring Madison (especially in the summer!)
